India has reported 38 new cases of COVID-19, as per the latest data from the Union Health Ministry. Active cases in the country stand at 306. The death toll has reached 532,037, according to the 8 am update.
India’s total COVID-19 cases now amount to 449.99 lakh (4.49 crore). The number of individuals who have successfully recovered from the virus has reached 444.67 lakh (4.44 crore), with a national recovery rate of 98.81%, as reported on the health ministry’s website.
The case fatality rate remains at 1.18%.
